InformationOMBRINA
OMBRINA is a self-supporting sunshade with a slender tubular structure of smoke or milk coloured stainless steel. The roof consists of grey polyester 90mm belts, which allow the sun to filter and create a relax-zone.
The parasol is fitted with wheels so that it may be easily repositioned, whenever necessary.
OMBRINA can also be provided with loose fluctuating curtains, grey mèlange or white, for a greater privacy.
Curtains: white polyester fabrics Trevira CS or grey 100% acrylic fabric.
OMBRINA, a name that says a lot for itself. Slender and lightweight, the lines of OMBRINA look as though they have been traced in the air with a pencil to provide shelter from the sun. Born of Antonio Sciortino’s creative flair and produced by RODA, this project of Mediterranean inspiration sanctions the company’s first collaboration with the artist-designer, which effortlessly combines a taste for craftsmanship and an industrial manufacturing capacity. Hence, OMBRINA incorporates Sciortino’s artistry in shaping metal rod, combined with the high quality outdoor materials and attention to detail typical of RODA.
