Catalano is one of the few pieces of Spanish design that have never been bettered and which can be expected to remain commercially viable. The secret lies in its well-know virtues. Its ergonomic shape, wisely adapted from the bench Antoni Gaudì designed for Güell Park; and the deployè steel, which gives it a sense of trasparency so that it blends disceetly into its setting, prevents rainwater from collecting and keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer.
