Jorge Penadés has completed a new edition for the REmix Project (Vol. 3) created by BD Barcelona Design with the objective of giving a second chance to company materials no longer in use. The designer, born in Málaga and living in Madrid, has coverted left over extruded aluminium profiles into a colourful collection of vases entitled Piscis. It’s made up of various models produced in a limited edition and now part of BD’s Art Editions Catalogue.
This project has been named REmix, since it has something of a mix, like disco music that was fashionable at the same time the original pieces were designed. To complete it we have had the help and participation of different authors. REmix Vol.1 is a limited set of candle holders (1) made by Curro Claret. Because of his profile and trajectory, we couldn’t have chosen a better designer to start with the project. REmix Vol.2 is a limited set of cabinets (2), developed by Ramón Úbeda and the BD technical team.
Manufacture year: 2019
