Wood and glass are the main elements of AREIA, an elegant chest of drawers’ island unit designed by David Lopez Quincoces.
The clean formal lines are a distinctive trait of the project, which plays on essential volumes, offset by a tubular bronze metal structure and the sophisticated Canaletto walnut on the base and the suspended drawers.
The design is further accentuated by the delicate nature of the extra-light glass surfaces that give a visual sense of lightness, almost as if they have dematerialised, adding an airy sense of spaciousness to the room.
