Selecta is the evolution of the first Italian freestanding system, designed by Lema in 1978. Selecta by Officinadesign Lema was the first product to join the details of wood craftsmanship with a series of technical innovations that today make it one of the most versatile products in terms of the number of compositions available, of the different uses and of the various finishes, making it a bespoke product for every home. It takes advantage of contemporary design united with the industrial processes of the company.
Par excellence library since 1985, year of its launch, Selecta is a modular day system in continuous update because of the introduction of new finishes and elements that are designed to adapt to the evolution of today’s living spaces, satisfying every need both in aesthetic and functional terms.
Elements, finishes, sophisticated details which are all in line with today’s trends and that make the library at the heart of the home’s furniture.
Spaces used for storage or walk-through areas, rooms with different ceiling heights, attics, under stair storages, these do not represent obstacles, rather opportunities. Using the best technology and the numerous available solutions, Selecta represents the ideal choice when projecting multifunction walls with integrated cabling system for the use of multimedia systems.
With over 1500 elements in the vast catalogue, all in a variety of finishes and bespoke touches, the composition possibilities of Selecta are practically infinite.
To the shelves there can be added doors and containers to ensure a variety of uses. Wooden shelves with integrated lighting system with minimum encumbrance (11mm) which adhere to the backing, for a pleasant soft light. To enrich the project, GLANCE can also be integrated, elegant glass cabinets, available in double and angular versions, with structure in bronze and extra clear glass. This has been designed together with Matteo Nunziati, recapturing the style of the glass cabinets and cupboards which he has in the past designed. For those who look for a library that is able to store a collections of objects, the spaces with velvet backing and glass shelves, create fascinating and seductive backdrops to entrust the most precious objects.
