Research focused on achieving the utmost standards of comfort without renouncing to design is the vision that underpins all LONGHI seating systems. The powerful personality of LA chair is defined by the elegant woven leather handle finished with chrome metal studs.
Solid ash wood structure, moulded and shaped with CNC machines, painted with water-based colours in Black and Mink Brown. The seat and backrest are in medium density polyurethane foam, covered in non-removable leather or fabric upholstery. On the backrest, there is an elegant handle in braided saddle leather, coloured dark brown or natural beige, fastened to the frame with chromed metal studs in the following finishes:
- bright light gold,
- bright black chrome,
- matt satin bronze.
At the bottom of the rear legs are installed two chromed metal ferrules also available in leather as per our sample set. All metals are available in the following galvanised finishes:
- bright light gold,
- bright black chrome,
- matt satined bronze.
Interiors designed by Ben Wu. A futuristic architect, creative, among China’s top ten who has designed Rhythm collection for Longhi. This contemporary furniture blends perfectly with Longhi’s style. Pieces with essential lines and architectural volumes which have been conceived to be like a tile in a mosaic in harmony with the surrounding space.
“Through the centuries, the rhythm of music has been integrated into Eastern and Western cultures. The elegance in those sounds is enthusiasm for life itself. Like music, having rhythm is such a fundamental aspect that I wanted to include it in my collection, thus making every shape fl uid and harmonious. My design, called Rhythm, does not only describe the artistic background of the present life, but also symbolises an almost futuristic lifestyle, always moving and full of rhythm.” (Ben Wu)
Love for details, passion and creativity make Longhi an internationally acclaimed brand that is deeply rooted in the furniture culture. This adventure began 60 years ago and this year the company is celebrating its anniversary with an important collection of pieces to admire,
touch and live. The 2019 Collection includes seating systems, armchairs, tables, chairs and complements with a polyhedral, transversal style. A fresh design language has emerged from new collaborations that mark the evolution of the company’s design strategy.
