In our well-stocked archives, we collect samples of the many thousands of designs that have been tested at Kasthall over the years. In 2015, designer Maja Johansson found and reinterpreted a pattern saved there since the 1960s. The result was Muse, a modern retro-classic woven in 100% wool. The 2017 colour story Denim borrows inspiration from asphalt, Italian suit fabrics, Finnish nature romantic paintings and selvedge denim – denim with natural edging from Japan – in different shades.
