The Frankfurt furnitures are part of a series designed by the architects Norbert Berghof, Michael Landes and Wolfgang Rang representing the German version of Postmodernism and, within this version, more specifically representing the "Darmstädter-Frankfurter Schule". The designs of this production series are produced in a limited quantity of 100 pieces each and are numbered, dated and signed. The Frankfurt chair F3 is an artifact in bird´s eye maple, ebony, bruyère, root timber, solid maple, bubinga, ivory, horn, brass, gold leaf, marble types Lasa and Aosta, Granit Bahia Blue etc. Every single piece is an individual construction - a hand-made masterpiece. The Frankfurt furnitures are works of art. They have been part of significant exhibitions and many international museums have bought them.
