InformationGRANDEMARE | Bed
The Grandemare bed, like its namesake sofa, was designed with an eye to understatement, but is rich in (sometimes hidden) design solutions that reveal its many virtues. The geometric yet soft shapes of the generously-sized upholstered headboard rest on a streamlined cowhide-clad wood platform. The headboard upholstery can be fashioned in either fabric or leather. The upholstery is entirely removable and is distinguished by tone-on-tone or contrasting color grosgrain piping. Because the epoxy powder-coated metal perimeter frame is set back from the cowhide-clad platform, the Grandemare sofa appears to float just above the floor.
