The Adamas light is a simple, effective design with no visible mechanism or structural element. The magic of a floating object, a wooden element which serves as a portable light and which is held onto a vertical metal element by a magnet concealed in the wood. With simple, intuitive gestures, the user can quickly master the light’s operation, directing and orienting it as desired. Currently available as a reading light, this principle of invisible fixing offers a wealth of possibilities for extending the range in the future.
Stem in satin black lacquered (RAL 9005) steel. Magnetized illuminated arm in satin varnished turned solid oak; this is directional and may also be used as a portable light. 30 cm LED ribbon with a total output of 5 W, emitting 470 lumens or the equivalent of a 45 W incandescent bulb.
Colour temperature 2,700 (warm white).
Black electric cable. Black foot switch.
