Karim Rashid designs for CIELO Amedeo: a new washbasin concept which adapts to suit all furnishing and practical requirements.The new design is based on a brand new concept: two basin and pedestal versions, one oval and one round.The freestanding pedestal is the star of the collection: it is extremely original and elegant, with tapering and harmonious forms which appear to have been shaped out of the flow of water. This all-round sculpture can be positioned on both sides, both frontally and laterally. Another brand new element is the basin (round or oval, depending on the chosen pedestal), inserted within the pedestal, which may be installed very easily as either a countertop or semi-recessed basin, as you prefer. The basin is available in gloss white, gloss black, Stone and anthracite and in an exclusive finish designed by Karim Rashid. In the pedestal version, you can therefore simply extract the basin with a simple action and replace it with another one to renew the image of your bathroom. Or, to recreate your bathroom completely, you can switch it from being a countertop basin to a semi-recessed basin.A new, 100% Italian-made (like all CIELO products) offering, featuring great attention to detail and made from top quality ceramics. It provides a perfect example of the company philosophy, which focuses on research into shape and materials.
