Sicis continues the exploration in the field of furniture and lifestyle by reinterpreting with great intuition the ancient mosaic art; undergoing at the same time the challenge to introduce the theme of mosaic to precious and exclusive texttiles. Iconic collections of the Maison and some artistic decorations, that emphasize the craftmanship and refinement of this art, have benn chosen and translated into precious textures. The difficult task has been to make visible the patterns throught the tesserae, without flattening them and highlight the richness of the 'mosaic in texttile' thanks to the difference of loom battening speed. It is a great emotion being able to transfer mosaic art into textiles, a surprise to discover precious objects, unique in their category, using a universal language for expressing new fascinating projects.
