In 2017, Antoniolupi completes the trilogy of the Slot series, which in 2001 redefined the archetype of the wash basin by transforming the drain from a simple functional component into aesthetic detail and distinctive feature of the project. Already in 2008, My_Slot had expanded the versatility of the washbasin making it available with a traditional drain. In either case the use of Corian as the only material and the total absence of the drain and overflow, describes minimal aesthetics ever seen before. Sharp and essential shapes, clean and rigorous volumes, straight lines and proportional balance of the surfaces, which are in the DNA of the project, are found, after more than 15 years since the launch of what is now a real bestseller, even in the new version.
OpenSlot is the proposal of a traditional drain inspection as that of a standard washbasin concealed by sight thanks to a removable cover, always made in Corian. A solution that preserves the identity and image of the Slot, but at the same time makes it easier to maintain and clean any part of it.
