"An architectural object lived in by an almost ergonomically organic handle". These are the words that Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, the minds behind the latest mixers’ collection launched by Zucchetti and previewed at Frankfurt, use to describe HIM. The designers’ research started with the intention to create a radical object, a geometry from which water springs with all its energy. The idea developed in the direction of less is more, following essential use of material, formal expression of function. The outcome of this architectural genesis is a light, absolute product, in harmony with an evolution in the washbasin area towards slender, geometric solutions. The distinguishing feature of this collection, thought up and interpreted for the whole bathroom, is the compact, streamlined design of the flat spout with cascade jet. The Zucchetti patented concealed cartridge made it possible to reduce to a minimum the volume of the mixer body, building the cartridge itself underneath the ceramic surface to give a marked effect of lightness, in harmony with the pure, elegant, squared shapes of the single lever mixer. HIM is also a project with a green soul: its no-frills design enabled a significant reduction in the use of metal and the cascade jet of water, managed and controlled by dedicated devices, allows for constant water savings while guaranteeing comfort of use.
